Reonomy Pricing, Reviews, and Alternatives (2026)

What Reonomy costs in 2026, what the plans include, where it is the right tool, where it is overkill, and the alternatives brokers and developers actually switch to.

Prices were checked on September 5, 2026 against Reonomy's public pricing page and Plotzy's own pricing. Vendor prices change; if you see something out of date, email support@plotzy.ai.

Reonomy is the best-known commercial property data platform in the mid-market, and for ownership and debt research it is still the benchmark. It is also priced for firms rather than individuals. This page lays out the current pricing, what you get, and when a different tool is the better buy. Plotzy is one of those alternatives and we build it, so the trade-offs are stated plainly.

The short answer

Choose Reonomy if your prospecting keys off ownership structures, loan maturities, and transaction history across all commercial property types, and a seat at $400 to $500 a month pays for itself. Choose Plotzy if your prospecting starts with the parcel (zoning, lot size, use) and you want owner contacts in the same workflow for $180 a month with no annual contract. Choose a comps platform if what you really need is sale and lease comps, which neither tool is built around.

What Reonomy is

Reonomy, part of Altus Group, is a web application and data service covering 53M+ US commercial properties, 68M+ transactions, and 30M+ owner and contact records. Its core strength is entity resolution: connecting a property to the LLC that owns it, the people behind that LLC, and their other holdings. Layered on top are mortgage and transaction data, a likelihood-to-sell score, 200-plus search filters, and export. Enterprise customers can buy bulk data feeds and API access.

Reonomy pricing in 2026

PlanPriceWhat it includes
MonthlyFrom $500 per monthFull web app access, unlimited searches, support chat, cancel or upgrade anytime. 1,000 monthly exports available for an additional $75 per month.
AnnualFrom $400 per month, billed annuallyEverything in Monthly plus 1,000 monthly exports included. Additional licenses discounted.
Bulk data feedsQuoteCustom CSV delivery of 10,000+ records
APIQuoteDirect integration into your own systems

Pricing is per seat. A free trial is offered on request, and Reonomy does not publish its length. The annual plan is the one most reviews quote, which is why "$400 a month" is the number brokers repeat; on monthly billing the effective price is $500 plus $75 if you need exports.

What reviewers consistently say

Across G2, Capterra, and CRE Daily's 2026 review, the same points recur. Strengths: ownership unmasking, the breadth of national coverage, and the debt and transaction data for event-driven prospecting. Complaints: price for solo brokers and small teams, contact data that is uneven by market (many users still run a separate skip trace), and an interface built for research rather than for building and working a call list.

Where Reonomy is the better choice

  • Your deals come from loan events. Maturing debt, recent refinances, and long tenure across a portfolio are Reonomy's home turf. Plotzy has no debt data.
  • You need ownership across every property type. Office, retail, multifamily, industrial, hotels, and land, with the same entity resolution everywhere.
  • You are an enterprise buyer. Bulk feeds and API access are mature products at Reonomy; Plotzy's API is on the Scale plan and not self-serve.
  • You want a licensed contact database rather than lookups on demand. Reonomy's contacts are pre-attached to records; Plotzy researches contacts per parcel with a monthly allowance.

Try the alternative

Run your own comparison on a market you know

The honest test is twenty parcels in your own county: check the zoning, pull the owners, and see how much of the workflow one tool covers. The trial is seven days with no card.

  • Starter $180 a month, Production $300 a month, monthly billing
  • Parcel search, two-level zoning, Zoning AI, owner contacts, export
  • Cancel anytime from Settings

Where Plotzy is the better choice

  • You search by what you can build. Plotzy attaches two levels of zoning to every parcel (a category and the municipality's own designation such as C-2 or PD), lets you filter on it, and answers zoning questions from the ordinance with the section cited. Reonomy shows a zoning code where it has one and stops there.
  • You want the parcel search and the owner contact in one workflow. Filter, save to a folder, run the contact lookup, export the call list with your notes.
  • You are paying out of your own pocket. $180 a month on Starter, $300 on Production, monthly billing, cancel anytime, seven-day trial with no card.
  • You work land, development sites, and specialty uses (self-storage, car wash, industrial outdoor storage, multifamily land) where the zoning question comes before the ownership question.

Plotzy's limits, stated plainly

  • No debt, mortgage-maturity, or transaction-history data, and no likelihood-to-sell score.
  • No comps, listings, or tenant information.
  • Owner contact lookups are metered by plan.
  • Zoning AI is in beta, and municipality coverage for the full ordinance question-and-answer is still growing, though the two-level zoning designation is on every parcel.
  • Single seat on Starter and Production; teams are on the Scale plan.

Other Reonomy alternatives to consider

  • CompStak if lease and sale comps are the missing piece. It is a comps platform first.
  • PropertyShark for address-level records at a low monthly price, strongest in New York.
  • LightBox Vision (formerly LandVision) for GIS-heavy land work with environmental and demographic layers; see our LandVision alternatives page.
  • RE HQ if you want a dialer, SMS, and a CRM attached to the owner data; see Plotzy vs RE HQ.
  • Regrid or ATTOM if you want raw parcel data through an API and will build your own workflow.

How to decide

Run both trials against the same twenty parcels in a market you know. Score three things: did the tool find the parcels you would have wanted (the zoning and size filter), did it name an owner you could verify, and did the contact information connect. Then price the winner on a monthly basis. The right tool is the one that gets you to a verified conversation for the least money, not the one with the largest database.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Reonomy cost?

Reonomy's published pricing starts at $500 per month on a monthly plan or $400 per month billed annually, per seat. Exports are included on the annual plan and available for an additional $75 per month on the monthly plan. Bulk data and API access are quoted separately.

Does Reonomy offer a free trial?

Yes, on request through the pricing page. Reonomy does not publish the trial length.

Is Reonomy worth it for a solo broker?

It depends on what drives your deals. If loan maturities and ownership networks are your prospecting signals, the data is worth the price. If you prospect parcels by zoning, size, and use and mainly need the owner's phone number, a parcel-first tool at a third of the price usually does the job.

What is the best alternative to Reonomy?

For parcel and zoning-driven prospecting with owner contacts, Plotzy. For comps, CompStak. For low-cost address-level research in the Northeast, PropertyShark. For outreach tooling on top of owner data, RE HQ.

Does Plotzy have the same data as Reonomy?

No. Plotzy covers more parcels (150M+ versus 53M+ commercial properties) with zoning attached, but it does not carry Reonomy's debt, transaction, and licensed contact data. The two tools are built around different first questions.
